This is the privacy policy of “de Verbouwwinkel”.
De Verbouwwinkel collects and processes private and personal data. De Verbouwwinkel considers a careful handling of personal data of great importance. Therefore, personal data will be carefully handled and secured by us.
During our collecting and processing of personal data we keep to the requirements set by the privacy laws. This includes:
- clear statements on the purpose of the collecting of data, which we are doing through this privacy policy;

Use of personal data
By using our webshop we obtain certain data from you. This data could be of a personal nature. We collect and use strictly the data that you provided to us directly, either in the context of the requested service by you, or data of which it was made clear that it was provided to us with the purpose of processing it.
For the purposes listed in this privacy policy we collect and process the following data:

- Phone number
- Billing address
- Email address
- Payment information such as bank details
- Gender
- Date of birth
- BSN number (national identification number)
For certain services of de Verbouwwinkel we will have to register you. After registration we will keep the personal data provided by you. We will keep this data to apply for, among other things, an “All-in-one Permit for Physical Aspects”, known in Dutch as an “Omgevingsvergunning”. We will not share your personal data with third parties unless necessary in the context of the implementation of the agreement you have made with us, or when legally required. In the event of suspicion of fraud or abuse, we can hand over personal data to the competent authorities.

Contact form and newsletter
Via our website we offer the possibility to ask questions through a contact form, where you are asked to provide various data to process your question. You choose which information you provide. The data you send us will be kept for as long as needed to completely process and handle your question, according to the nature of the form or content of your email.
We offer a newsletter through which we want to inform interested parties about our products and/or services. Every newsletter includes a link through which you can unsubscribe. Your email address is automatically added to the list of subscribers.
Location data
If necessary to provide the service to you, we can collect location data from you (GPS location of photos). Your permission will be requested immediately for this.
This (location) data will also be stored and processed through the provider of, for example, navigation software, such as Google Maps, but the data can also be used by, for example, Google or Apple themselves. We have no influence on this. We recommend that you read the relevant privacy statements of the relevant providers.
Sharing with third parties
We can share your data with our partners. These partners are involved with the implementation of the services and products.
These partners are located within the EU. We have strict agreements with them to comply with European privacy laws.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to track user behaviour on our website. We have signed a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with Google about the handling of this data.
We have not given Google permission to use the obtained Analytics information for other Google services. Finally, we anonymise IP-addresses.
Security
We take security measurements to limit abuse of, and unauthorized access to, personal data.
Retention period
The personal data described above will be retained for as long as necessary to completely implement the product or service. Afterwards we will store the data for statistical purposes. The data can be deleted upon request, unless there is a legal obligation that requires longer term storage, such as the fiscal retention obligation of seven years of payment data.
Changes in this privacy policy
We reserve the right to make changes to this privacy policy. We advise you to consult this privacy policy regularly, so that you are aware of any changes made.
